VÍDEO: Chute robótico de karatê lança pequeno drone para fora do palco

During a recent demonstration at IROS 2026, a Unitree Robotics G1 humanoid robot encountered a Hopcopter in its path. Rather than navigating around the jumping drone developed by HopTo Technology, the bipedal machine simply kicked the device out of the exhibition area. The incident offers an impromptu look at the physical agility and real-time motion control built into modern hardware. It also highlights how unpredictable interactions are becoming increasingly common as advanced robotics share the same testing environments. How should developers program collision avoidance when multiple experimental machines operate in the same physical space? Media: Mete Gultekin on LinkedIn
